Keegan Growers, formerly T&D Growers, is a family-owned farm in Cheshire, Connecticut, proudly continuing more than five decades of locally grown plants, flowers, and produce.
Keegan Growers, formerly T&D Growers, was founded in 1970 by Michael Ariisco Sr. The farm is located in Cheshire, Connecticut, known as the bedding plant capital of Connecticut. For more than 50 years, the farm has grown flowers, vegetable plants, and produce in acres of greenhouses located on the property.
In 2026, the farm continues its legacy under the ownership of Shelly and Timothy Keegan, longtime Cheshire residents who have lived in the community for over 20 years. They have raised their three sons, Timothy Jr., Chase, and Collin, on the values of hard work, family and honesty in everything you do.
We are committed to providing beautiful, healthy plants and exceptional service to both retail and wholesale customers. Our plants are perfect for home gardens, landscaping, and seasonal decorating.
The Keegan family is committed to preserving the land as a working farm because they believe it is important to keep agricultural land thriving rather than being sold for development. Keegan Growers will continue operating as a family-owned business, with their children excited to learn the growing trade and help carry the farm into the future.
Keegan Growers supplies high-quality flowers, plants, and produce to wholesalers throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. For our wholesale customers and larger orders, we also offer convenient delivery.
The farm also features an on-site retail Garden Center that is open daily from April through October. During the season, customers can find Easter, spring, summer, and fall plants and flowers, along with vegetable plants and fresh produce.
The Garden Center reopens in December for the Christmas season, offering fresh-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, kissing balls, and a variety of items to decorate and honor loved ones’ grave sites.
Keegan Growers is proud to support the community by offering fundraising opportunities for local schools, sports teams, clubs, churches, charities, and other organizations. Groups can raise funds by selling our popular flower plants in the spring and festive Christmas items during the holiday season.
These fundraising programs provide a simple and successful way for organizations to support their causes while sharing beautiful plants with the community.
